At a very young age, JR's parents recognized his gift as an artist. Once the paint was shaved off of the family dog, they encouraged him to move to other media. As his talent and desire to create grew, his dad would steal reams and reams of 11 x 17 paper from his office to feed his son's growing habit. His mom would keep him on a steady diet

JR Began his art career, like many with doodles in the corners of school text books and trying to paint the family dog. JR received no formal training learning everything he knows from “girlie mags” and junky yards.

JR begain tattooing in 2004 at Hellcat Tattoo Aprenticing under Dave. In 2012 JR Opened Ink and Pistons Tattoo in West Palm Beach Florida. Durring his Tattooing career JR has racked up numerous awards and a client list including many famous celebrities and athletes.

In addition to tattooing, JR is one of the Photographers for the Atomic Bettie Productions, a Pin-Up production company specializing in vintage and high-fashion photo shoots.

JR is owner and curator of Slushbox.com, an online art gallery where he features and sells his art as well as representing some of the hottest Painters and Tattoo artists.

JR has been featured in numerous magazines including International Tattoo, Car Kulture Deluxe, Ol’Skool Rodz, Kustom Mag, Rebel Rodz.
